Stayed at Kaneyoshi Ryokan, Namba Dotombori, Osaka.

The hostel is old but the staff was excellent. Discussed with us where we are going and gave us useful tips. Warning- next to Red Light district.

Very helpful staff and nice rooms. Only thing that is mentionable is the 12 o'clock curfew. I highly recommend this ryokan to anyone!

This place is in a fantastic spot, and the staff go completely out of their way to help you out. The room is charming and traditional.

The hostel itself wasn't very exciting but it was right in the heart of the shopping and nightlife areas. And the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was simple but clean.

The staff was friendly and the room was great; also bigger than what we'd gotten used too. To find the place, we had a taxi call the hotel to ask for directions. I'd recommend ordering (Japanese) breakfast at this hotel. The breakfast was good, but the best part was starting the day off by having it served to our room. Great service. If anime/manga/maid cafes is your thing, don't miss out Den Den town, which is within walking distance.

This was the best place I stayed in Japan. It is really close to Dotombori and Namba, main points to start sightseeing. The place was really clean and spacious. Staff was really kind also. I highly recommend Kaneyoshi Ryokan.

Friendy and helpful staff, very clean & tidy and rooms well serviced. Good central location, 12pm curfew as usual with ryokans can hinder partying but you'll get that everywhere. Would stay again for sure.

I enjoyed my stay here in the ryokan-style room. The hostel is very easy to find, even arriving on my own at 10pm without directions. My room was very quiet even though the street was the sort of place where businessmen party - although it has some dodgy-looking nightclubs, it didn't seem dangerous or intimidating to a solo female walking around.
