Fantastically friendly staff!

Great atmosphere, very relaxing- particularly the bathing/recreation area with massage chairs and the traditional ambience that runs through whole building. Easy to find- guesthouse staff collected us within 10 minutes of telephoning and returned us to Takayama. Fantastically friendly staff!

The staff picked us up from the JR station and a drop-off service is also available. The staff were very helpful and the private-onsens are great as you can use them with your husband/wife and they were free to use! The food was delicious and we highly recommend this hotel and the breakfast/dinner package as few restaurants are nearby.

Nice little village, beautiful landscape. About Seifu-so there's nothing more to say than perfect!!! The food was delicious, the rooms and the building itself are authentically Japanese and really beautiful. The hot spring was relaxing..... but above all the family and staff were so warmhearted, friendly and helpful. I've never stayed in such a great accommodation before. Thank you so much for everything!!!

EBESA tours for experiencing northern Nagano "Yamanouchi (Yudanaka, Shibu, Shiga Kogen) finally launched.

Yamanouchi Town is located in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, which is home to the Jigokudani Yaen Park that is inhabited with world-famous wild monkeys called "Snow Monkeys." Why not stay in this vast and popular sightseeing area, full of nature and the pleasant atmosphere of onsen (hot springs)? EBESA offers great value with tours that let you see, experience and fully enjoy the traditional activities in three main areas -- Shiga Kogen, Yudanaka Shibu Onsen-kyo and Kita Shiga Kogen.
In the northern Nagano dialect, "EBESA" originally meant "Let's go."

The traditional style rooms were very well equipped and extremely comfortable, especially the futons. A highlight of our stay was the meals- the Japanese food was beautifully presented on the table, each night was different and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly even helping with origami. The hotel is well located very close to all of Nara's attractions and transport. A most memorable experience - thank you.

The staff could not be more friendly and attentive. It made our stay relaxing and comfortable. They strived to help if we had any questions even though we only speak English. The room was beautiful and the general feeling was peaceful with the bonus of soaking in the baths. We would most definitely recommend to anybody visiting Japan.
