The views from our room onto the garden are splendid.

20070803suzu4250.jpegMukaitaki has a very warm, relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and I would heartily recommend it to anyone seeking a ryokan in Aizu. The food an its presentation are beyond compare with delicious flavors and aromas at each meal! The views from our room onto the garden are splendid. The staff are very friendly, caring and extremely welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the baths both private and ladies bath and found the Mukaitaki a very charming ryokan and look forward to returning some day. My son and his family also plan to travel to Aizu to stay at Mukaitaki.

The Japanese garden with the koi pond is very relaxing.

Staff/service is excellent.

Great hotel. Very relaxing. Staff/service is excellent. My only complaint is I could not get internet in my room(yuki), even with wifi.

It greatly exceeded our expectations.

Mukaitaki is a very beautiful, traditional Japanese inn. It greatly exceeded our expectations. The rooms are immaculately clean. The onsen is lovely. Your staff are very friendly and anticipated all of our needs. Some speak very good English. It would be helpful if the people serving meals know more English words for foods. It would also help to have an English menu-or a menu in Hiragana or Katakana. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We loved the feeling of being in a traditional setting - a bit like a living museum.

mukaitaki0131.jpgWe have had a most wonderful stay. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The building is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the feeling of being in a traditional setting - a bit like a living museum where you are part of the cultural experience, not just looking at it. The staff were very attentive, courteous and helpful. We appreciated the chef catering for our vegetarian diet with a delicious range of foods. We came here easily on public transport(bus and taxi) from Niigata. We would highly recommend a stay at Mukaitaki to our family and friends. Thank you for your preservation of this building and service.

This ryokan has a beautiful setting, making our stay here extremely relaxing.

This ryokan has a beautiful setting, making our stay here extremely relaxing. The food was excellent and the chefs catered to our dietary restrictions without making the least bit of fuss. The staff was very helpful in providing advice on what sites to see, how to rent a car and they were also extremely gracious hosts. They are also very accepting of our lack of ability in Japanese.

I would recommend to stay at this ryokan for anyone.

My stay at Mukaitaki was relaxing and enjoyable. The service I received was excellent and couldn't have been any better. I was able to experience the Japanese culture through the food, room, and hot spring bath. I would recommend to stay at this ryokan for anyone.
