Modern comfort in a traditional setting.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was perfect, traditional but with all the amenities, very comfortable; we slept really well. The area is quiet, just a short walk from the subway, Nishiki Market district and tons of restaurants along the river. Our only disappointment was that we never could try the hotel’s breakfast: each time we tried to book for the next morning, the staff would simply say no, apologetically. We finally discovered that we needed to book before 8 PM; too bad they only told us that on the last night. We particularly enjoyed the public bath, open until midnight.
