My sisters and I loved our stay here! They booked a Western room, which had two beds, a comfortable bathroom, and a second room (a separate dining tatami room). Mine was a traditional room, which had its own dining/sitting area. The chef was out so there was no option for a kaiseki dinner although we did enjoy a Japanese breakfast the next morning. The owner was kind and allowed us to change (after a long travel day) and leave our luggage while we went out for lunch and sightseeing before the official check-in time. The onsen downstairs was perfect after lots of walking. I’d stay here again – and I know it was even more enjoyable because there were few guests at the time of our stay. A tour group was coming in the day we were leaving, so I was happy our stay was pleasant and quiet while we were there.
