The ryokan was a good experience (sleeping on the tatami). We opted for both the dinner and breakfast option because we read reviews that it was good. However, while the food was good, it wasn’t as value-for-money as the Omakase we had the night before. The public bath isn’t an Onsen but still a good place to go and experience, especially if there’s no one else using it. There are also usually free workshops everyday, we had a free tea ceremony workshop which was an eye opener!
