I’d recommend it for anyone who wants to try a more traditional Japanese stay while in Tokyo.

Wonderfully Japanese with tatamimats and screen windows and big common bath. It has plenty of character and was conveniently tucked in on a side street. During my stay I was situated in a room across a small japanese garden, so I’d fall asleep to the sound of water cascading into a pond. The facilities are old, but they have been very well taken care of and the staff is very sweet and helpful. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants to try a more traditional Japanese stay while in Tokyo.
