Lovely authentic atmosphere and a very nice escape from busy streets.

information_photo2.jpgLovely authentic atmosphere and a very nice escape from busy streets. Felt safe and very close to attractions/shops/railway. Staff were friendly. Staff who bought us hot water was lovely "Hugh Jackman". I loved our room! Lots of spare and fun sleeping in Japanese ryokan. Thank you:)

A nice friendly lodge with wonderful public and private onsen.

shirakabaso_outdoor%20onsen.jpgA nice friendly lodge with wonderful public and private onsen. Breakfast and dinner are very delicious. There is no doubt about safety and security during our stay. The snow monkey are really worth seeing. Staff and Mr. Sato are absolutely helpful and attentive. You can see them day and night.

Traditional old Japanese-style ryokan with typical atmosphere.

homeikan_room.jpgTraditional old Japanese-style ryokan with typical atmosphere. Placed in a quiet area of Tokyo to enjoy a quiet stay. A few minutes walk to the nearest subway stations (Hongo-sanchome, E08/M21; Todaimae, N12). Rooms are well equipped with futons, fridge, TV, phone, cookies and always a hot bottle of water for preparing your green tea. We most liked the hot bath tub for relaxing after a long day in the city (available 24h/day). Staff was very friendly, helpful and all English-speaking.
