The room was spacious and comfortable and the onsen was fantastic.

This is a traditional old fashioned onsen ryokan. The room was spacious and comfortable and the onsen was fantastic. It was a busy weekend for the ryokan and many of the other guests were smokers. The smoke spreads easily throughout the old wooden ryokan. My children loved the whole experience.

The atmosphere of the Hotel was great!

shibu_dec20.jpgThe atmosphere of the Hotel was great! We would definitely recommend it to other people. We loved the authentic atmosphere of the hotel. We felt very safe in the hotel and town. We loved the monkey park and the town area. All were very beautiful. The staff at the Shibu Hotel were amazing, very nice people. They tried very hard to communicate with us in English. Wonderful place. Would love to come back again one day:)

The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We highly recommend Yudanaka Seifu-so. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was large and the area quiet. We had 3 onsen to choose from and opted for the outdoor one which was amazing and relaxing. The owner kindly offered to drive us to the monkey park in the morning and gave us apples and a little souvenir on our departure. We only stayed one night and wished we'd booked another 2 nights as the experience was well worth it!! Yudanaka is a lovely town.

The hotel had a charming atmosphere and made for a very pleasant stay.

newwakasa1230.jpgThe hotel had a charming atmosphere and made for a very pleasant stay. The room was very well furnished and provided everything we could need. The futons were extremely comfortable on the tatami floor and we appreciated the tea set and hot water provided. The hotel was easy to find and very close to both Nara Park and the shopping district. The staff were very helpful and pleasant - we always felt welcome which made our stay at this lovely hotel even better.

Yamatoya Honten is located near Dotombori street and open 24 hours.

Yamatoya Honten is located near Dotombori street which in addition to being open 24 hours allows you to enjoy the night life. I came to Osaka to attend a concert and they were kind enough to allow me to send my tickets which allowed me to attend the concert.I had a feeling I would be back late, but it wasn't an issue as they are open 24 hours and I didn't have to worry about being locked outside or being a nuisance by coming back after hours.
