The atmosphere was lovely. I've never stayed in a ryokan before. It was very traditional. I had no worries about safety. I love the location. The best! Shinasaibashi arcade is nearby and the area looks wonderful from the window at night. Staff was helpful and lovely.

Thank you very much for the lovely stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were very helpful and polite, and helped us any time we asked. I felt very safe here. The hotel was very easy to find, even walking here from the train station as we did. You made my birthday very special indeed! ありがとうございます！

The staff were so kind and helpful. We needed a lot of additional help getting around and they were eager and willing to spend the time to help us get to where we needed. Fantastic place.

Very helpful owner, his mom and dad. Excellent onsen, great sized room and beer in the fridge in the room (good for a late arrival). You can't get better value for money in Japan.

Thank you for this moment. We slept on futon and tasted Japanese breakfast and dinner. If we return to Nara, we will stay at New Wakasa again! I could find the place easily. We visited the Todaiji Temple, Nara Park, Tofukuji Temple and five-story high pagoda. Staff was fabulous, helpful and attentive. They spoke English and offered a special rice for our honeymoon. I recommend this hotel. The meals were delicious but was too much for us. The breakfast was great. We tried the private bath. It was super!

Stayed at Hotel New Wakasa Nara City

Very nice atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the bar area and the beer! Security is good, we had no problems. Very good location, close to attractions. It would be useful to have information about the local buses. We enjoyed the beach and hot springs during our stay in Kinosaki. The staff were very attentive. Especially liked that they knew who we were every time we walked in the door. They were also helpful with any questions. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you.
