It had a very traditional feel.

Nice atmosphere. I will recommend to friends. It had a very traditional feel. I felt very safe during the stay. It was easy to find the hotel. Good staffing and service. The long history of this onsen attracts our stay.

We would especially recommend dinner menu in room and trying all their local beers.

beerlocal.jpgLovely ryokan and perfect destination in middle of Kinosaki, close to all onsens. Great atmosphere, our room had garden view and it was very clean and enjoyable. Staff speaks enough English to guide us through our stay. We would especially recommend dinner menu in room and trying all their local beers.

The food was amazing, I suggest you try.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The food was amazing, I suggest you try. We came quite late, past closing time, and a DAY EARLY. They still woke up, phoned the manager(their son?), and arranged us a room. FANTASTIC service! Only thing to worry about is the coin laundry is quite a ways from the building. If you are going for a ride to the monkey park with the staff, be sure to asks where it is. One of the staff even gave us a gift of homemade apple jam when we left : ) which we enjoyed!

The room, service, onsens, and food were excellent.

Dear Mr. Seiji Arai:

We would like to thank you, your wife, and your wonderful staff again for an
unforgettably memorable and exquisite experience at the ryokan.

It exceeded our expectations and we wish we could have stayed longer. The
room, service, onsens, and food were excellent. Everything was beyond what
we imagined.

We deeply appreciate your hospitality and the patience of your staff with
our limited Japanese and we apologize for any difficulties or inconveniences
it may have caused.

You have made our vacation to Japan particularly unique and we wish you all
the very best.
