My stay at Mukaitaki was relaxing and enjoyable. The service I received was excellent and couldn't have been any better. I was able to experience the Japanese culture through the food, room, and hot spring bath. I would recommend to stay at this ryokan for anyone.

We enjoyed staying at this ryokan. We appreciated the landscape, public baths and the relaxing area. Very clean room endowed with all comforts. Very kind staff. We had a delicious dinner in a private room.

Stayed at Benten-no Yado Itsukushima, Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture.

The atmosphere was excellent. I loved the external look of the buildings and the gardens. I felt very safe. Shuttle service was excellent! Enjoyed walking the town. Staff were excellent. I would stay again.

Stayed at Hida-Gassho-en, Gifu Prefecture.

The hotel is easily reached by express bus from Nagano Station. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and hospitable. The rooms were spacious even for western standards. The hot spring baths are very relaxing and refreshing. You only need a towel, all other soaps/conditioner etc. is provided. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and it was lovely to try out new tastes. The scenery in the area is beautiful. You can hike around the hotel or take the cable car to the next ski area and walk to the top of the ski runs there for a fantastic view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other (foreign) visitors.

Stayed at Hotel New Wakasa Nara City

This ryokan has a beautiful setting, making our stay here extremely relaxing. The food was excellent and the chefs catered to our dietary restrictions without making the least bit of fuss. The staff was very helpful in providing advice on what sites to see, how to rent a car and they were also extremely gracious hosts. They are also very accepting of our lack of ability in Japanese.
