Konya, Tamatsukuri Onsen — Newly added ryokan introduction

Feel and experience the traditional life style of Japan. Our hotel has been around for 300 years to provide accommodations to travelers. We welcome you to this sacred land and hot springs. Our hotel used to be a place to do aizome (indigo dyeing) during the Kyoho years of Edo era and also a place to offer accommodations to visitors who seek to treat their illness in the hot springs of Tamatsukuri Onsen. Izumo is a birthplace of ancient Japanese tales. Our hotel, Konya, is situated in the beautiful green area of Tamatsukuri Onsen, which is known as the sacred springs of the Japan gods. Izumo is in the eastern part of Shimane Prefecture. Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine, the Japan’s oldest shrine is about 50 – 60 minutes away by car from our ryokan.
