We loved our stay at the Shibu Hotel.

We loved our stay at the Shibu Hotel. The attention to detail in our room was amazing. My wife and I had a very relaxing experience, and found the food and presentation by your staff to be very personable. Hope to stay here again.

The delighted dinner will warm you up after a day tour in this lovely town.

gasshoen_0113.jpgIt is a wonderful natural surrounded hotel to rest your soul throughout a busy city life. The heritage house is the highlight to understand the traditional Takayama culture back to 200 years ago. The delighted dinner will warm you up after a day tour in this lovely town. The staff were trying their best to make you feel at home and explain you the local aspects. It is an unique asset for the world travelers to experience. If time allows, I will bring my friends or families to have holidays here again!

Very nice Ryokan, with feel for Japanese tradition

Very nice Ryokan, with feel for Japanese tradition with little western influence (western breakfast included etc.).

It was a great stay, Thank you!

benten_cook.jpgMy only suggestion is to include drinks for dinner in the price of your stay. Also, a food vending machine would be nice. It was a great stay, Thank you!
