This is a great hostel, quite small but perfectly formed!

This is a great hostel, quite small but perfectly formed! Very clean and tidy, the staff are brilliant, very very helpful suggesting ideas for sightseeing, shopping and eating out, and also very friendly. It’s close to the tube and near the main shopping/restaurant area, we walked most places. Also met lots of nice people there, although I must say you have to be quite quiet after 10pm as you can hear throughout the house. I would stay here agian!

Staff were very attentive and friendly.

Room was impecable and well furnished. Very clean and charming. Everything you would hope for from a well runned ryokan. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a very warm welcom. Ryokan is well located, conviniently close to station and a bus ride away from Monkey bath. Highly recommended, we would definitely come back!

It's a beautiful old Japanese style inn- comfortable, unpretentious, and very welcoming.

Irori Sosuke is one of our few favorite inns in Japan, always the place we
choose when we can get to Takayama. It's a beautiful old Japanese style inn
- comfortable, unpretentious, and very welcoming. The owner and her staff
are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the meals are fabulous, served in
an open tatami-mat room. This place is a definite find.

We stayed at Minshuku Sosuke, Takayama in Gifu Prefecture.

The ryokan was beautiful and clean and gave us a great taste of Japan.

itsukushima1224.jpgThe staff is very friendly and made us feel welcome. The ryokan was beautiful and clean and gave us a great taste of Japan. It was a pleasant stay. The dinner was great, as was the presentation. We got lost looking for the place. No one knew where it was. But the guys at the fire department helped us out. The onsen was great. We enjoyed that the most. Thank you.
