We could not have wished for a more enjoyable experience than the one we have had at Benten no Yado Itsukushima. The staff are fantastic and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room, tha bath and the food were by far the best we encountered during our trip to Japan. From and English/Western point of view the Ryokan is very unintimidating as the staff speak English quite well and take the time to explain how to wash that and where to dip this. A++

The lobby and the room are so great that one quickly forgets the outside looking. The service seemed very fine, and the cusomized attention to children is splendid.
I thought the information in English about the air-condtionng would be very helpful and necessary. The disposition to assst was great! Congratulations for the smile of the reception staff.

We had a magnificent time here. It was a perfect place to be on our honeymoon. The character was amazing- we loved the traditional Japanese yukata. The staff were fabulous and very very friendly- Naoko and Shiha explained our food very well. Thank you very much-
